In just 73 hours, two Indian Men named Dr. Ali Irani and Sujoy Kumar Mitra beat the previous Guinness World Record for the quickest time to tour all seven continents. Dr. Ali and Sunjay, two avid travellers, believe that every record is destined to be broken.

The fastest time to visit all seven continents was recorded by two Indian Men named Sujoy Kumar Mitra and Dr. Ali Irani (both from India) in Melbourne, Australia, on December 7, 2022, according to the record book’s website. Over the course of four days, Mr. Irani and Mr. Mitra travelled throughout Oceania. The two broke the world record for going to all seven continents in the lowest amount of time when they departed from Antarctica on December 4, 2022, and arrived in Melbourne, Australia, on December 7, 2022.

In a statement they told Guinness World Records, “Today we might be successful in breaking a record, tomorrow someone else will break our record.” On his Instagram page, Dr. Ali also posted the Guinness World Records certificate. The post’s caption read, “In Guinness Book Of World Records.”

The previous record was set by Dr. Khawla Al Romaithu of the United Arab Emirates, which was 3 days, 14 hours, 46 minutes, & 48 seconds, according to Guinness World Records. One person in the Instagram comments said, “Congratulations for those dedicated efforts!” A second person added, “Best news of 2023.” Another person said, “Heartiest congratulations, Sir.” Some others have reacted using smiley emojis.
