Another tragedy in Nimatighat, a 60-year-old man fell into the Brahmaputra river on the morning of December 2, Thursday.
How did the Incident happen?
According to Dy365, he was traveling from Nimatighat to Majuli on a ferry named RPL Digaru. Though the identity of the old man is yet to be found and it’s also been suspected the old man voluntarily jumped into the river.
The search and rescue operation of the old man is still underway.
Previous tragedy in Nimatighat
A few months back, a boat tragedy in the heart of Brahmaputra took several lives when it’s traveling, and a collision with another ferry cause the mishap.
