Former India captain and at present BCCI president, Sourav Ganguly has affirmed that he has given his endorsement to shoot his biopic.
The lead role of ‘Dada’ is likely to be played by India’s one of the famous actor, Ranbir Kapoor. It is discovered that it will be under the pennant of a major creation house and is set to be a major spending Bollywood film of around Rs 200 to Rs.250 crore that is being reserved for the film.
“Yes, I have agreed to the biopic. It will be in Hindi but it is not possible to say the name of the director now. It will take a few more days for arranging everything,” Ganguly stated.
This will be the fourth biopic of a cricketer in Bollywood after those made on Sachin Tendulkar, Mohammad Azharuddin, and MS Dhoni.
