The attack on Saif Ali Khan comes just months after a shooting incident outside Salman Khan’s residence, allegedly orchestrated by members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Such incidents highlight the vulnerabilities faced by Bollywood stars, even within the supposed safety of their homes. Security experts have emphasized the need for enhanced personal security measures, including stricter monitoring of residential areas, advanced surveillance systems, and trained security personnel.

Political Reactions on Bollywood actor attacked

The attack has also drawn sharp criticism from political leaders. Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi expressed her dismay over the incident and questioned Mumbai Police’s ability to ensure safety in the city.

“What a shame that Mumbai sees another high-profile attempt on life. The attack on Saif Ali Khan yet again raises questions on Mumbai Police & the Home Minister,” Chaturvedi posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Similarly, NCP (SP) leader Clyde Crasto highlighted the potential dangers for ordinary citizens. “The attack on Saif Ali Khan is a cause for concern because if such high-profile people with levels of security can be attacked in their homes, then what could happen to common citizens? Fear of law seems to be at a low in Maharashtra due to leniencies in the past couple of years,” Crasto wrote.

These statements have further fueled the ongoing debate about the state of law and order in Mumbai, urging authorities to take swift action to restore public confidence.

The shocking news of Bandra stabbing incident has left Bollywood in a state of disbelief. Many actors, directors, and industry professionals have come forward to express their concerns and offer support to Saif and his family.
