Reviving the lost: Jorhat boy in his remaking of lost traditional instruments

Jorhat boy,  Partha Pratim Neog has started his journey to revive the taste of tradition in his land by making traditional Assamese musical instruments. 

With his creative and skillful work the boy is trying to bring back the lost taste of art and music. 

With his immense trial and effort he is now creating the instruments by himself, therefore establishing an identity for himself.

As per reports by The Fourth Pillar, Partha Pratim Neog, in his journey of recreating the traditional instruments has addressed the people of the state – “ to the people of my land, the Axomia Raiz, after working day and night I am able to present the traditional instruments amidst you. This is our struggle, in keeping alive our own sound of musical instruments.”  

He is hopeful in reviving the past and bringing back the forgotten sounds, and seeks the support of the people across the state.
