Parul University: The Vadodara Film and Design Festival (VFDF) held at the Parul Institute of Design, Vadodara, was inaugurated by the renowned director Vivek Agnihotri. The festival featured 200 short films from India and around the world, and Mr. Agnihotri shared his insights and experiences with the audience.

The university has recently received an A++ grade with a CGPA of 3.55 by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), making it the youngest private university in India to attain such a high grade in its first assessment cycle. The NAAC assessment covered various parameters, including teaching-learning methods, research and innovation policies, infrastructure, placements, and pedagogy, among others.

Parul University has cultivated and implemented academic policies and distinctive and best practices, making significant impressions on Gujarat’s and India’s scope of higher education through its endeavours in research, industry centrism, innovation, internationalisation, healthcare and community development.

The NAAC assessment focused on the key parameters such as the University’s curriculum design and development procedures, the teaching innovations employed, student-teacher profiles, research promotional policies, innovation practices, extension initiatives, governance structures, healthcare services, gender equity, environmental consciousness, among others.

Moreover, this year, Parul University had an impressive performance in the GATE 2023 examination, with 45 students qualifying. One student achieved an All India Rank (AIR) 17, while four students made it to the top 100 ranks, 14 students to the top 500, and 20 to the top 1000 ranks.

The University’s unique research policies for EMR and IMR funding, incentive structures, consultancy initiatives, and collaborative projects with State, National and Global funding agencies like Indian Council for Medical Research ICMR, National Human Rights Commission, AICTE, Royal Academy of have contributed to its progression in the areas of assessment.
