Padma Awards Winners 2022: Full List of Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, Padma Shri Recipients

The names of the Padma Awardees are announced on Republic Day. It is conferred by the President at a ceremonial function around March or April.

Thus for the year 2022, President has approved the conferment of 128 Padma Awards — 4 Padma Vibhushan,17 Padma Bhushan, and 107 Padma Shri Awards.

Among them 34 are women, 13 awards are posthumous, and 10 awards are for persons from the category of Foreigners/NRI/PIO/OCI.
