After the much awaited decision came over yesterday as Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma taking over the next CM of the State. Outgoing CM Sarbananda Sonowal today announced that he is dismissing all his Z+ security, keeping only 3 house Guards.
He had been accorded a ‘Z+’ VVIP security cover of NSG black cat commandos by the centre owing to threats from insurgents and militants since 2017.
Sonowal said, from now he will serve just as an MLA from his Majuli Constituency.
