Assam’s National Health Mission (NHM) has issued a notice for the recruitment of 20 Engineer and Junior Engineer vacancies on a contract basis. Candidates who are interested and qualified can apply online here.
1. Project Engineer (Civil)
No of posts: 2
Age Limit: Up to 62 Years as of 1st April 2021.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
# A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or an AMIE (Section A & Section B) in civil engineering from a recognized university with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 60%.
# Minimum of 8 years experience in the execution and supervision of civil works in the construction of buildings under the supervision of the government, semi-government, or a reputable construction agency, and fully conversant with recording and measuring civil works related to building projects, including payment procedures. A retired government employee with the rank of Asst. Executive Engineer (Civil) or higher and in good health may apply for the position.
# Written and spoken English, as well as Assamese.
# Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Microsoft Office (MS Office) are required qualifications.
2. Assistant Engineer (Civil)
No of posts: 12
Age Limit: Up to 43 Years as of 1st April 2021.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
# A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or an AMIE (Section A & Section B) in civil engineering from a recognized university with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 60%.
# Persons with experience working in health-related organizations will be given preference.
# Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Microsoft Office (MS Office) are required skills.
3. Junior Engineer (Civil)
No of posts: 3
Age Limit: Up to 43 Years as of 1st April 2021.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
# Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum aggregate of 60% from any accredited Institute/Polytechnic.
# Persons with experience in healthcare organizations will be given preference.
# AutoCAD and MS Office are required skills.
4. Junior Engineer (Instrumentation)
No of posts: 3
Age Limit: Up to 43 Years as of 1st April 2021.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
# A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification work experience in the installation and maintenance of medical equipment and other related works under a reputable Organization/Agency and a degree/diploma in Bio-Medical/ Instrumentation/ Electrical Engineering from any recognized Institute/ Polytechnic with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.
MS Office is a required skill.
# The chosen candidate will be required to travel widely throughout the district.
NHM Assam Recruitment Selection Process
In due order, the schedule of interview/selection test for the appropriate post, as well as the list of provisionally shortlisted candidates, will be published on the website https://nhm.assam.gov.in.
