On friday, the Assam police CID team led by two SP level officers visited the residents of K.Vanlalvena following up his shocking remark on ANI interview. However, Assam cops did not find K.Vanlalvena in his residence.

Visit by Assam police

The Assam police team then paid a visit to Delhi Mizoram house only to find themselves in the trail of the MP. K.Vanlalvena is in the spotlight after allegedly threatening to ‘kill all Assam police personnel if they enter Mizoram’.

After the initial failure, Assam police then tried to hand over a notice to the Resident Commissioner of Mizoram House but then failed after the commissioner refused to receive the notice against the Mizoram MP.
MP asked to appear before August 1
The Assam police then pasted the notice on K.Vanlalvena’s official residence and outside the Mizoram house in New Delhi. The Rajya Sabha MP has been asked to appear before Dholai police station, Assam on the 1st of August.
The Assam Police also said it will take “lawful action” against Vanlalvena who had allegedly made a “threatening” statement over the border clash in which five police personnel and a civilian were killed.
