South Garo Hills police solved the murder mystery of a minor Dalu student within 48 hours of recovering the deceased’s body.
What happened
On December 4, a written complaint was filed regarding a little girl who went missing after school on December 1, 2021. Her body, however, was discovered in the bushes in the Dangsugre area on the route to Chaipani village on December 4 at around 7 a.m.
The minor girl was raped and murdered, according to the police. The essential procedures were observed during the investigation.
The recovery of body
Then, on December 6, 2021, based on information provided by I/C Dimapara ICP, the alleged accused Bimstar R Marak alias Bimbim, 22 years, was apprehended from his residence in Dangsugre, PO South Garo Hills, at around 10:30 a.m. for his involvement in the instant crime and taken to Baghmara Women Police Station for further action.
As a result, the case was filed.
