Introduction:

Ladakh Tourism

Bounded by the Himalayan mountains on one side, the radiant Ladakh offers a quiet, scenic getaway from the bustle of daily city life. A trip to Ladakh can turn out to be redemptive for the soul, allowing one to unwind and relax in the midst of nature. The best way to make your stay here as meaningful as possible, make sure you take advantage of the beautiful landscapes here through exploratory tours and photography. There are plenty of absolutely ravishing spots to explore in and around Ladakh, from the snow-clad deserts of Hunder, to the beautiful Nubra Valley. Although just visiting and relishing one’s tome here should suffice, it would also be an excellent idea to record these beautiful memories in a series of photographs, to be able to cherish and relive them later on.

Ladakh

1. Explore the new things – Housing some of the country’s most beautiful, offbeat attractions, a Leh Ladakh trip would remain incomplete without a few days’ worths of explorations. The biggest point of attraction in the hill station is, of course, the Diskit Monastery, shining out on the map owing to the magnanimous Buddha Statue on its premise. Set against the backdrop of the misty mountains, Diskit and the Maitreyi Buddha can be a true joy to explore, especially if you are hiking to the monastery. If trekking is something you are interested in, Nubra Valley or the Drass Valley can be great places to explore. The latter especially, promises a once in a lifetime experience- the second coldest inhabited area in the world, Drass offers the best and the most beautiful views of the snow-clad Ladakh. While in Ladakh, do not forget to spend a day in the Hunder dunes, an ice desert famed for its Bactrian camel rides.

2. Take out beautiful pictures – As the saying goes: if there are no pictures, it didn’t happen! A trip to Ladakh would remain incomplete without having recorded the memories through pictures. Wrapped around the Himalayan peaks, it is very easy to find a photographable landscape in the hill station. Whether you’re keen on recording the attractions, the beautiful sunsets, or merely the peaks blanketed in thick carpets of snow, Ladakh offers plenty of photo opportunities. Taking pictures is also a great way to capture a moment forever, only to be taken out and treasure them later. If you are going camping with your friends, touring the Hunder dunes on the back of a Bactrian camel, or simply lounging at the hotel with your family, make sure you have your camera ready to be able to go back to the most memorable moments of your vacation, later in life.

3. Enjoy the moment: Caught up in our busy schedule between work and home, we often forget to take some time out and enjoy the present moment as it passes. Cut off from the hectic bustle of daily life, a trip to Ladakh can be the perfect place to unwind and connect with the present. To make the best of your time here, try to spend as little time on your gadgets as possible and turn your attention instead, to your travel group, the places you are visiting, and the culture you are interacting with. Enjoy in the best way possible by exploring the beautiful nooks in the area, and do not forget to take as many pictures as you can!

Ladakh

A holiday is always a great opportunity to make memories with a loved one. Whether through pictures and memories recorded in the mind, make your stay in Ladakh the highlight of the year for you.  The trip to the mountains can prove to be twice as meaningful if you, cut off from the mundanity of daily living,  can optimize the present moment to the fullest, engraving the journey in your memory and leaving with some of the most cherished recollections of your life.
