INOX Leisure Ltd (INOX), India’s largest multiplex company, has announced its arrival in Guwahati with the opening of a four-screen luxury multiplex at Aurus Mall on GS Road.
Movie fans in Guwahati can now enjoy the latest releases at INOX’s INSIGNIA, a unique and sumptuous cinematic experience.
The all-new INSIGNIA at Aurus Mall, which will open on the auspicious date of Durga Puja, will provide an ultra-premium 7-star multiplex experience.
INSIGNIA will transform the movie-going experience by fusing luxury with every part of the cinema-visit, with four unique auditoriums and a total of 183 luxurious recliner seats.

Guests can expect the smoothest of experiences at INSIGNIA, from flawless check-ins and food orders to luxurious recliners in every auditorium with precise projection and exceptional Dolby Atmos Surround sound.
The city’s cinemagoers will be treated to best-in-class cinema hospitality, with an on-call butler giving knee-down services at the touch of a button. Gourmet meal alternatives and freshly ground and brewed coffee options round out this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Design of the multiplex
The multiplex’s design combines contemporary and styled art deco seamlessly.
Guests will be greeted by stunning visuals that showcase the spectacular video walls, gold embellishments, and luxurious mirrors and furnishings, all of which add to their sense of relaxation.
Food is INSIGNIA’s most premium offering, with food stations adorned with a stunning radiating texture backdrop for customers to gaze at in awe and wonder.

INOX INSIGNIA in Guwahati will be INOX’s second multiplex in Assam and the first in Guwahati, with one currently open at ABS Mall in Jorhat.
Safety first
INOX is following all of the instructions laid out in the State Government’s notifications, in addition to ensuring that the theatres are run by a fully vaccinated workforce.
Apart from adhering to the mandated seating regulations, the cinemas will be thoroughly cleaned regularly, with disinfection of all consumer touchpoints such as the entry, Box Office, lobbies, auditorium, F&B counters, bathrooms, and exit gates.
