“The troops of the Trishakti Corps of the Indian Army rescued more than 500 stranded tourists after sudden snowfall in East Sikkim,” the army said in the statement.
The Trishakti Corps swiftly mobilized to rescue the stranded individuals, providing them with essential support. Hot meals and medical assistance were promptly offered to ensure the well-being of the tourists. Additionally, safe transportation arrangements were made to ensure their swift return.
The Trishakti Corps reiterated its commitment to assisting both civil administration and civilians, highlighting their dedication to serving the people of Sikkim.
