The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has predicted that by next year, India will have the fastest economic growth rate as the world’s fastest economy.
Last year, after facing immense financial loss due to Covid-19, the situation in India and countries around the world seems to be improving now.
Except for India growth rate has not been estimated to go above 6%
According to the estimates of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), this growth rate can reach upto 8.5 per cent. Whereas, in the United States, this rate can be up to 5.2 per cent.
However, the special thing is that in the list, except for India, this growth rate has not been estimated to go above 6% for any other country.
Economic Growth rate estimated to improve in 2021
The IMF says that due to the pandemic last year, the economic growth rate was -7.3%, which was estimated to improve to 9.5% in 2021.
This estimate was also much higher than any other country in the world. Also in 2022, the growth rate is estimated to be the highest compared to other countries.
