The review meeting welcomed prominent figures from science, technology, and maritime industries. Among the esteemed guests were Dr. Sanjay Nayak, co-founder of Tejas Network, recognized for his work in indigenous telecommunications and network advancements, and Prof. Pankaj Jalote, founding director of IIIT Delhi, whose expertise in computer science lent valuable insights into research-led technological innovation.

Dr. Asokendu Samanta, Senior VP at the Indian Register of Shipping (IRS), emphasized safety and regulatory standards crucial to underwater technologies, while Shri Amar Kumar from DST highlighted DST’s unwavering commitment to strengthening India’s technological infrastructure.

The event also featured Mr. Gilbert V. A., founder of Neel Diving School in Cochin, whose pioneering work in underwater diving and maintenance is essential for equipping India’s maritime workforce.

One of the event’s highlights was the ceremonial certification of two divers who completed TIH’s Underwater Welding Course, conducted in collaboration with the IRS and Neel Diving Institute in Cochin.
