Student of Little Flower School in Guwahati tests COVID Positive; Offline Classes suspended for 3 days

A student of Little Flower School, Guwahati studying in 12th standard has tested positive for Covid-19. Following this, the offline classes have been suspended for Class 12 for 3 days.

As per reports obtained by Pratidin Time, no official notification from the school authorities has been issued, though teachers have already declared, that offline classes for standard 12 students have been suspended from November 17 till November 19.

Offline Classes will be carried on for other standards

The students of Class 12 will have online classes, but offline classes of other standards will continue.

A student from Class 12 tested COVID positive on Wednesday and is currently under home isolation.

Resumption of Physical Classes

Chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma previously announced that physical classes for class IX, XI, and degree second year have started from October 1.

While elementary classes started on October 19, after being shut for five months, due to the outbreak of the second COVID-19 wave at Assam.
