Pedestrian injured by a speeding van at Chandrapur, Guwahati on Wednesday night. The injured pedestrian has been identified as Pawan Das.
Hit and run accident; Pedestrian injured
As per local reports, the driver was intoxicated and lost control of the vehicle. The driver and the handyman however fled from the scene after the incident. The reports also reveal that many packets of ganja were also recovered from the vehicle.
The van was reportedly going towards Chandrapur from Guwahati city. The vehicle bears the registration number AS 01 JC 1417.
