On November 15, Monday, a drunken woman created ruckus in the Gorchuk Police Station, Guwahati. A video, of the incident, went viral on the internet, where it can be seen the woman who was detained by the police shouting aloud in the police station premises. A wine bottle can also be seen on her hand.
How did the Woman reach Police Station and how did the incident happen?
According to a report by Time8, an Uber driver took the woman to the police station and said a boy sent her from a restaurant in his car.
The Uber driver further added, “She was in an inebriated state. I did not wish to give a lift to her as our company does not permit this. But the boy who booked my car compelled me to give a lift to her.”
Similar kind of Incident in Guwahati
This kind of issue is becoming repetitive in Guwahati. Previously, model Rajkanya Baruah injured nine PWD laborers after she rammed her car into them on the night of October 1.
The charge sheet of Rajkanya has already been filed by Police. It has come at a time when Rajkanya’s bail plea is up for hearing.
