Gauhati University or GU 6th semester results for B.A/B.Sc/B.Com will be announced on September 5, 2022. The University will also release the re-evaluation results for the 5th Semester on the same day.
GU 6th Semester Results To Be Out Soon
As per the official statement, some fake grade sheets are been shared on social media platforms which are showing already passed students as failed. All are requested not to believe such documents and report them.
A group of third-year undergraduate students staged a protest demanding the university re-evaluate the fifth-semester results for free earlier in August. But the university disregarded their pleas. The students were allegedly manhandled by the police. The students alleged that even few students suffered minor injuries. They were admitted to the hospital.
Around February to March, the examinations for fifth-semester undergraduate students were held. On July 29, the results were declared. Several students were marked absent though they appeared for the exams.
According to Hemen Kalita, President, PGSU, In many colleges, students got back in the same subject on a mass scale. There are many cases where individual students got up to three or four backs in different subjects.
