On 25th August, the Nagaon police succeeded in busting a fake driving license racket and the police authorities arrested two individuals, Ashraful Ahmed the masterminds behind the racket.
How did the Nagaon Police busted the racket?
The Nagaon police caught a driver named Sariful Islam with fake driving license, and following this the police authorities started investigation and arrested Ashraful Ahmed.
As per reports, Ashraful Ahmed is a resident of the Nagaon district and has his own DTP center which is the center of making duplicate driving license. He was charging between 5k to 10k per license.

Police asked the people to submit their license
The police authorities has also asked people who have fake driving license, to come and submit them to the police. Otherwise strict actions would be taken. Nagaon police also warned them saying ” Please reach us before we reach you”.
