Dr. Prasenjit Saikia, a senior scientist from the Coal and Energy Division of CSIR-NEIST (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-North East Institute of Science and Technology), has won the NESA Fellowship of the Year Award 2024.
The award was received by Dr. N. Kalaiselvi, Director General of CSIR, during a grand ceremony at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. It was held as a part of the International Conference on “Advancements in Basic Science, Environmental Studies, and Traditional Medicine for Translational Drug Discovery and Development (TMT3D-2024).

One of India’s most coveted honours in environmental science, energy research, and sustainable development is through the NESA Fellowship by the National Environmental Science Academy.
