5 year old Dhritishman Chakraborty has been awarded the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar this year.

About Dhritishman Chakraborty
The 5 year old kid is from Sivasagar who has been singing since the age of 3 years. Just at the age of 4 he has 43 music video covers.
Among them 3 are in English, 33 in Hindi, four in Bengali and three in Assamese.
When he was just 11 months old he first grasped the lyrics of a song. He dreams to be a Rock Singer and with support from his parents he believes one day he will achieve it.

Dhritishman Chakraborty was amongst the 29 Children who have been conferred the award this year from all regions of the country.
They have been awarded for their exceptional achievements in Innovation (7), Social Service (4), Scholastic (1), Sports (8), Art & Culture (6) and Bravery (3) categories.
As per information, there are 15 Boys and 14 Girls among the awardees from 21 States and UTs.
Furthermore, a cash prize of Rs.1, 00,000 has been given to the awardees of PMRBP 2022. The prize was transferred online to the respective accounts of winners by the Prime Minister.
