Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Assam has released the official notification of DHE Assam Combined Merit Scholarship 2021-2022.
This scholarship is for those students who are pursuing Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.

The last date to apply is today, i.e, on 26th of October 2021.
DHE Combined Merit Scholarship Details and eligibility criteria
The students who are pursuing Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Arts/ Science/ Commerce discipline are eligible for this scholarship.
Financial Assistance for students who are pursuing UG course will receive an amount of Rs. 300/- per month and students who are pursuing PG course will receive Rs. 500/- per month.
Educational Qualification
The minimum qualifying marks to apply for the scholarship is given below:
Candidates applying for the Combined Merit Degree Scholarship scheme UG students must get 60% in Higher Secondary.
Candidates applying for combined Merit Master Degree Scholarship scheme PG students must get 60% in the General Degree Course.
Important information
Awarding authority: Directorate of Higher Education, Assam
Session: Students pursuing these courses from any recognized institution for the session 2021-2022 are eligible for the schemes.
Resident-ship: The student must be a domicile of Assam, however the candidates must provide a PRC document, which is mandatory.
Bank Account: The Students must have valid up-to-date Bank Account in their name Preferably in SBI and details to be submitted alongwith the application (Bank Name, A/c Number, Branch Name, IFSC Code).
The Scholarship for the following scheme shall be paid through DBT system to the beneficiaries.
It must be noted that the Candidate should possess the relevant qualification from any recognized Institution.
However, selection for the scholarship will be strictly based on merit in all cases and also to be restricted as per budget allocation.
How to Apply?
Interested and eligible candidates must submit their application through online mode. The candidate shall follow these basic steps to submit DHE Combined Merit Scholarship application form online:

Step 3: Official online application portal will open.
Step 4: First register yourself with all required details.
Step 5: Next again Log in with your user id and password .
Step 6: Enter your personal and educational details as well as upload all the required documents as mentioned below.
Step 7: At the end, submit your application and take a print out of the acknowledgement receipt.
Documents to be submitted
As a Proof of Domicile of State of Assam the students must submit PRC from DC/ SDO.
The candidate must provide a Certificate from the Registrar/Head of the Institution in which the candidate is at present studying (mandatory).
Final mark sheet of last qualifying examinations (HS/ TDC)
Signature and Photograph of the candidate.
