A shocking incident has been reported from a Municipal School in Northeast Delhi’s Bhajanpura wherein two girls from the fourth standard were allegedly assaulted. The girls were disrobed in front of the whole class and the accused reportedly urinated in front of them before fleeing from the scene.

The incident took place on the 30th of April 2022. At the time of incident, the school authorities however failed to report the matter to the Police.
The DCP of Northeast Delhi revealed, “A special team has been formed to investigate the case. The special wings have also been roped in to assist in the investigation. Based on the testimony of the school girls, the identikit of the suspect has been prepared and we have zeroed in on two suspects and are in pursuit.”
As per reports, one of the parents reported the incident to the people, stating that the accused two 9-year-olds sexually, by forcing the girls to take off their shirts and urinating in front of them. According to the reports filed by the police, “it was a Municipal School and no CCTV was installed on the premises. However, the footage from several CCTVs in the vicinity has been examined for clues about the suspect.”
Swati Maliwal who is the chief of the Delhi Commission on Women issued a notice to the Delhi Police over the case. She said, “the girl students were waiting for their teacher in the classroom after the school assembly when an unknown person entered. He then removed the clothes of a girl and muttered obscenities to her and then walked over to another girl and removed his clothes and urinated in front of the students. When the students informed the class teacher and principal about the incident, they were told to keep quiet and forget about it.”
A case has been lodged against the accused under the section of POCSO.
