Deepika Padukone has been chosen to be a member of the 75th Cannes Film Festival’s exclusive and renowned jury.
The Cannes Film Festival, the world’s most renowned film gathering, highlights the best global films that advance the evolution of cinema and the global film industry.

Deepika Padukone will be a member of the worldwide competition’s eight-person jury, according to the festival’s organizers.
Vincent Lindon, a French actor, will chair the jury at Cannes 2022.
Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi, Swedish actress Noomi Rapace, actress screenwriter producer Rebecca Hall, Italian actress Jasmine Trinca, French director Ladj Ly, American director Jeff Nichols, and Norwegian director Joachim Trier will join Deepika Padukone on the jury.
The jury will select the winners of this year’s Palme d’Or awards, which will be made up of five men and four women.
