Jorhat: After the death of Niraj Das aka ‘Kola lora’ the prime accused of Animesh Bhuyan mob lynching.
The locals of Jorhat celebrated the death by bursting of crackers. People came out on the road at several places in Jorhat city in jubilation.
The Incident shook entire Assam, people from all parts of the state started demanding justice for the deceased youth. In Jorhat also where the incident took place students led huge protest shouting slogans agaisnt the merciless lunching.
How did the main accused died?
Kola lora was trying to flee from a police vehicle by jumping when another police vehicle hit him. However, he was immediately admitted to Jorhat Medical College and Hospital but the doctors declared him dead.
Three police personnel were also badly injured and the car too got severely damaged. Police personnel are under treatment and observation.
