In a recent announcement, CBSE has conveyed that its Term 1 examination will be conducted from the end of November. The first term exams for Class 10 will be conducted from November 30, while Class 12 exams will be conducted from December 1.
Pattern of the exams
The CBSE exams will only be objective-type. The exams will start from November 16 for Class 12 and November 17 for Class 10.
How to download the admit cards
Candidates can check their roll numbers at the official website, cbse.gov.in, and log in to download the admit cards, using user ID and passwords. Students preparing for the CBSE board exam should download the rationalized syllabus and sample question papers from the CBSE academic website – cbseacademic.nic.in.
Check the sample papers
CBSE has released the sample papers and marking schemes on its official website. The CBSE term 1 Class 10, 12 sample papers contain questions that could be asked in the upcoming board exams.
What else do you need to know about the upcoming exams?
According to the CBSE term 1 exam pattern, question papers in term 1 exams will have multiple-choice questions (MCQ) on case-based and assertion-reasoning type questions. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes and would cover 50 per cent of the rationalised CBSE syllabus. The duration of minor papers will be mentioned on the date sheets.
