Brahmaputra Board in collaboration with Cotton University has decided to organise a Brahmaputra Mahotsav event in Guwahati.
The event will include two competitions- An Essay Competition and a Painting Competition.
Registration
The participants need to be UG-level students of Cotton University. The interested candidates are requested to register their names through the following link by 4:00 PM, December 18, 2021.

The theme of the competition is “Celebrating Brahmaputra”.
The competition will be held at Cotton University.
Essay Competition
The essay competition (both Assamese and English) is scheduled to start at 11:00 AM and end at 12:00 PM.
The participants at the essay competition need to report in the Conference Hall at 10:30 AM, on December 20, 2021.
Painting Competition
The Painting competition is scheduled to start at 12:00 PM and end at 1:30 PM.
The participants at the painting competition need to report to Dr. T Ao Indoor Stadium at 11:30 AM, on December 20, 2021.
Prize Money
The Prize Money for the winners are cited below-
First Prize- 5000 rupees
Second Prize- 4000 rupees
Third Prize- 3000 rupees
Consolation- 1000 rupees
