Bike-riding thug shreds lady’s salwar and takes away purse in Guwahati

Guwahati: A bike-riding scoundrel tore the lady’s salwar while stealing her purse at Ananda Nagar, six miles from Guwahati, on Friday.

Lady forced to rush home

According to reports, the lady had to rush to her residence while wearing only a half-salwar and managed to pull her salwar pants on.

Later, someone approaches her and offers to accompany her to the Dispur police station to report the horrible robbery.

CCTV footage of culprit shared with police; investigation on

The victim lady also shared the miscreant’s CCTV footage with the police station.

She claimed to be carrying Manapurram gold loan paperwork, a slip from “Maa- Jewellers,” Lakhi Mandir, six miles of work for jewelry repairs, Rs 5000 in cash, and bank payslip records. Further details on the case is awaited.
