For reportedly engaging in many illegal relationships, a woman in Assam’s Dhakuakhana area of Lakhimpur district was expelled from her village for 12 years.
Decision of the ‘kangaroo court’
As per reports by Time8, after she was allegedly caught having many illegal connections outside of her marriage, a ‘kangaroo court’ of village headmen voted to banish her and her family on Tuesday.
Local people’s view
Locals said that the lady was interested in illegal affairs because her spouse lived outside the village of Dighala chapori in the area.
The locals allegedly caught her red-handed on multiple occasions and warned her about her activities.
