On December 4, Assam Police arrested one person in a drug case and seized 13gms of Heroin in Garchuk. The operation was led by the West Guwahati Police District.
Details of the operation
On Saturday police raided the Lalmati area of Guwahati and seized around 13gms of Heroin.
The raid was carried out by the West Guwahati Police District and one person, Suman Das, was arrested.

Other drug busts
On the same day, near Zoo Narengi Tiniali, a CGPD team from Geetanagar police station apprehended Dhrubajyoti Bhuyan of Narikol Basti and seized 5 vials of Heroin and a mobile.
The West Guwahati Police Department arrested two persons, Retilla Marak of William Nagar village in Meghalaya and Abdul of Barpeta, at another drug bust.
Both of the accused were apprehended in a Dhaba in Milan Nagar, and police recovered 500 grammes of suspected Heroin in their possession.
Previous drug bust
At the Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) in Guwahati, Assam Police arrested two persons and recovered 129 grammes of heroin on November 25. The operation was led by the West Guwahati Police District’s Deputy Commissioner’s office (WGPD).
