Assam’s Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE) has invited applications from minority girl students for scholarships under the ‘Assam Government’s Special Scholarship Scheme for Minority Girl Students 2021-22.‘ Female students in grades 10, 11, and 12 are eligible for this scholarship programme.
The deadline to apply for the 2021-22 minority females scholarship scheme is November 7, 2021.
Under the scheme, a Class X girl student will receive Rs 2,000 per year, while a Class XI and XII student will each receive Rs 4,000 per year.
Can private school students apply?
Minority girl students at public, provincialized, and private schools are eligible to apply for the scholarship online.
A maximum of two people from a single family are allowed to apply for the award.
The candidate must provide her Aadhaar number in her application.

Minority Girls Scholarship 2021-22 – Eligibility Criteria
Girl students must be aware of the eligibility conditions stated below before applying for this special scholarship scheme 2021-22. Female students are required to:
- Be resident of Assam
- – Belong to a group of people who are in the minority.
- During the school year 2020-21, you studied in classes 10 and 12.
- – Bring a self-certified community certificate
- belong to a family with an annual income of less than INR 2 lakh.
- – Have a D.C./S.D.O. issued permanent residence certificate (Civil)
- During the application process, you must show your Aadhaar card.
