Couple of days ago, a female driver from Assam allegedly hit 9 PWD workers. The incident took place at midnight at around 1:30 am at Rukminigaon area in Guwahati. The female driver aka Rajkanya Baruah is a model and a former Miss India finalist.
As per reports by North East Now, today, on October 5, she did not appear before the Assam Police. Baruah’s mother intended to provide her a period of two weeks’ time before the police because she has been undergoing treatment in a hospital in Guwahati.
The other day, Baruah managed to secure bail with a time frame of 24 hours of the tremendous incident even after committing a monstrous crime due to ‘faulty FIR’ and the poor investigation by the Dispur police.
The police officials summoned Baruah on Monday, October 6. Two sub-inspectors, Sahir Ali and Abha Rani Gogoi respectively were closed to reserve on Saturday following the massive disapproval on social media against the Assam Police.
