Assam, Hailakandi; Police takes two youths in custody for allegedly raping a minor in Hailakandi, on Thursday.

As per reports, the incident took place at Kanchiala Village which falls under the Ramnathpur Police Station.
Two youths, namely Abul Hussain and Salim Uddin have been arrested. The Superintendent of Police, Hailankandi District said, “Two youths had raped a minor girl in the forest area of Kanchiala Village.”
He further added, “The entire area is a very remote forest area. We had taken the matter very seriously and all senior officers rushed to the area immediately. We had conducted continuous raids.”
Both the accused have been arrested on Wednesday night.
