In yet another successful operation by the Assam Police, 650 grams of heroin worth approximately 4 crore rupees was seized at Lohorijan, under Bokajan subdivision today, that is, September 1. The team that carried out the operation was led by SDPO Bokajan John Das.

Recent drug busts in Guwahati
Recently, Guwahati Police intercepted a huge consignment of 1.2 kilograms of heroin (100 packets) that was reportedly coming from another state. Six individuals were arrested. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted about it saying “@assampolice continues its tirade against drugs mafia!”
