Assam’s drug battle continues, with the Karimganj Police seizing a large shipment of cocaine worth Rs 3 crores on its way from Aizawl on Wednesday.
What was recovered?
Karimganj Police, together with a squad from the Veterbond AD camp under the Ratabari police station, recovered 100,000 Yaba pills after receiving a piece of confidential information.
A successful operation
One person has been apprehended, and Innova has been confiscated.
“In a successful operation, a team of Veterbond AD camp under Ratabari PS recovered a massive cargo of 100,000 YABA pills worth 3 crores which was on its way from Aizawl,” Karimganj police posted on Twitter. “One person has been apprehended, and an Innova has been held.”
Where drugs were collected?
Karimganj police collected 7 kilograms of suspected ganja in another successful narcotics operation on Wednesday.
Kamal Hoque, a resident of Sonamura, Tripura, was the accused.
