In a piece of wonderful news for the cine enthusiasts in Assam, well-known popular actress of Assam, Surabhi Das, has been roped in to play a significant role in a new show on Colors TV named ‘Nima Denzongpa.’

Surabhi Das rose to fame from her role in the Assamese series ‘Parineeta.’ The show was a great success, and she is well-known as an extrovert and an ambitious one.

It is also to be noted that the actress will be playing the role of the main female protagonist on the show. The show will be about Nima Denzongpa, an inspiring, intriguing, and struggling life story of a girl who hails from the Northeastern state of Sikkim.
