Assam flood affects more than 25,000 people across six districts of the state this year.

As per reports from Economic Times, a total of three people have died in the landslide incident that has been raised in Haflong, Dima Hasao.
Many parts of Northeastern states including Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh have witnessed heavy rainfall in the past couple of days. The water level in Kopili and Brahmaputra has raised above the danger level.
As per reports from Assam State Disaster Management Authority, a total of 24,681 people in 94 villages in six districts – Cachar, Dhemaji, Hojai, Karbi Anglong West, Nagaon and Kamrup Metro.
Reports reveal that more than 21,000 people have been affected in Cachar District.
Several roads, bridges and canals were damaged in Hojai, Lakhimpur and Nagaon districts.
