Assam: Widow part-time helper with no electricity charged Rs 37,579 electricity bill

A poor widow in Philaguri village in Gossaigaon with no electricity and earning her living part-time worker but shockingly received an electricity bill of Rs 33,579.

Her reaction after receiving such huge bill

The poor widow name Minati Saha leaves alone in the tin house was in full tears and requested the authorities to consider her case as she is unable to pay such a huge amount.

This is a clear case of neglect of the Assam Power Distribution Limited (APDCL) management in Gossaigaon. A poor widow with a minimum earning and no electricity can get bills of such a huge amount.
