Assam: In a massive announcement, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that door-to-door verification will be done to cross-check the completion of the first dose of vaccine in Assam.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Verification team will conduct house-to-house visits in each polling station areas to cross-check & countersign the certificates for completion of the first dose of COVID vaccination for the corresponding area.
This will be a massive exercise to prevent the third wave of COVID.”

The plan in detail
Furthermore, he also informed that preparations for COVID Vaccination Completion Campaign will be undertaken from 29th Nov to 5th December 2021 in Assam.
The officials however asked to carry out the program in mission mode to identify those who didn’t take the vaccine, especially the second dose, and ensure vaccination of all eligible people within the stipulated period.
Lastly, Sarma said that Assam Police will play an important role in this campaign by assisting the civil administration.
All ministers, CS, Guardian Sectaries, and other nominated officers will also visit polling station areas as observers to guide the Covid Vaccination Completion campaign.
