What is this tweet all about?
Some people might not get it in a go! It is basically about replacing an original diamond with a fake one in a jewellery shop in Guwahati, worth rupees 2 crores.
The incident in detail
On 27 July, i.e., Tuesday, a resident of Guwahati living in the area of Kalapahar Bhaskar Nagar, namely Pradip Dutta, the owner of the shop, filed an FIR at Fatasil Ambari Police Station, stating that a few months back, a person named Sandeep Kumar Pandey came to his shop to purchase a diamond.
Alert! It was already pre-planned!
Pradip Dutta also added that Pandey came to his shop twice to assure him that he would purchase it, showing mysterious behaviour.
However, on June 4, it came to light that the original diamond had been replaced by the fake one, and the accused Sandeep Pandey escaped after it. With that, the police station registered the complainant and started the investigation.
The following investigation and arrest
After a successful investigation by the police department of Fatasil Ambari, the accused was caught. While the police interrogated him, he finally confessed that he replaced the original diamond with the fake one.
The market value of the original diamond is two crores, which is a great sum of money.
