Assam Cabinet held a meeting on February 2, 2022 and decided the Infrastructure Budget. Taking the state towards welfare and growth the State Government decided:
- Rupees 450cr for Tamulpur Medical College
- Rupees 156cr for Jorhat Airport
This expansion is believed by the government going to give new wings to the state’s healthcare and connectivity scenario.
Assam Cabinet makes sanitary napkins mandatory in factories, industries for women staff
The State on Tuesday made sanitary napkins mandatory for all the industries and factories of Assam for their women staff. Apart from it, the Assam cabinet has approved the Assam Bamboo and Cane Policy that aims to utilize the bamboo and cane resources in the state through scientific management.
