Assamese actor Jatin Bora has been appointed as the new director of APDCL.
Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) is a public limited company wholly owned by the Government of Assam.
The primary objective of APDCL is to undertake distribution, trading and supply of electricity in Assam or outside.
APDCL was established in 1958 in the composite state of Assam under the Electricity Act 1948.

Jatin Bora is a popular Assamese actor. He was born on 25th April, 1970 in Kacholukhowa village, Nagaon.
Jatin Bora officially debuted in Uttarkaal. He is also a director and producer. Previously, Jatin Bora joined BJP but after the CAA protest he resigned from the party.
