The applicants for the by-elections to two assembly seats in Assam have been confirmed by the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF).
Jubbar Ali has been nominated for the Bhabanipur seat, while Khairul Anam Khandakar has been nominated for the Gossaigaon seat by the Badruddin Ajmal-led party.

The state’s by-elections will be held on October 30.
