5-years-old Assam boy awarded India Book of Records for “Maximum Countries’ National Anthem sung by a kid in five minutes”

Assam: A student of LKG and 5-years-old Priyom Sarmah from Gyanjyoti Academy, Gogamukh received the India Book of Record by singing national songs of 7 countries in just five minutes in their respective languages.

He has made the entire Gogamukh region proud by receiving the India Book of Record. Unlike other children, with much enthusiasm he could sing in five minutes the national songs of 7 countries. The countries include India, Bhutan, Nepal, Japan, Sri Lanka, England and America.

He was granted the title, “Maximum Countries’ National Anthem sung by a kid in five minutes” by the India Book of Records.

His mother’s contribution

In the interview with News Suhansiri, mother of Priyom Sarmah said, she taught him the songs while he was sleeping, bathing and so on. First, she taught her the national anthem of India and after he learned, she taught her national anthems of other countries.

Earlier India Book of Records holders from Assam

Sudeshna Bhuyan from Sonitpur, received for writing the maximum Assamese numbers in one minute where she wrote Assamese numbers from 1 to 84 in one minute.

Rajesh Kumar Roy from Barpeta, received for making the smallest Assamese traditional Xorai and Japi with newspaper. The xorai was 7.5 cm in height while the Japi measured 3.5 cm in diameter.
