Delhi: Once again a Northeastern woman allegedly faced harassment in Delhi. A woman from Manipur was sexually harassed by a group of men.
About the Delhi incident
According to the reports of Timesnownews, the incident happened on the middle night of December 10 and 11. The victim was returning from Safdarjung Hospital to Neb Sarai when the incident happened. She stopped at a shop to buy something when a group of bikers stopped nearby her and passed sexually colored lured remarks.
Well, a case has been filed under sections 323 ( Punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 342 (wrongful confinement), and 509 (intending to insult the modesty of any woman, utters any word, makes any sound or gesture, or exhibits any object) of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
