Governor of Sikkim Ganga Prasad opened the Bhaichung Stadium in Namchi on Sunday in the company of Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, amid a large crowd.
The ‘FIFA Quality Pro’ certification has been bestowed to the stadium, which has a seating occupancy of roughly 7500 people.
The playing surface is tiger turf, and the stadium covers a total area of 19650 SQM, with a 105m X 68m playing field.

The stadium’s facilities include offices for physiotherapists, managers, linesmen, and referees, as well as dressing and coach rooms.
A food court, as well as computer, media, and public speaker rooms, are available.
The stadium also has a VVIP lounge, guesthouse, warden, commentators, and a utility room.
