Orunodoi, which is Assam Government’s biggest social scheme has been launched by the government in their recent budget of 2022-23. The project aims to improve the security of the people in assam and thereby improving the growth and development.
Social Scheme for the security of the people
Orunodoi aims to uplift the people by provding them with social scheme security to improve their standard of living. The project has a set of goal to target more than 6 Lakh beneficiaries in the year 2022-23.
The people living in the peripheral boundary of the economic zone is the main target of the government. A large number of subsidiaries have been initiated towards them such as giving Rs 250 for the additional 50 units of electricity.
The total budget that has been allocated is close to 2,000 crore.
The government make full use of the plan that has been devised for these people and at the same time help them to live a better living standard in Assam.
Initially this plan was launched by the government in 2020 and aimed at providing rs 830 per families- mostly the ones below the poverty and also to the ones wherein women are the soul earners.
This plan helps a lot of these people giving them the assistance to the basic living subsidiaries like food, nutrition, fuel and electricity.
