Shillong: A fight broke out between security personnel and the public at Shillong’s Cherry Blossom event on Friday evening.
The location is said to be the entrance of the Cherry Blossom event from Polo Ground.
As per the reports by t7news, Tear gas had to be used to scatter the crowd. The crowd was gathering outside the gate.
In the pictures, it can be seen how aggressive the situation became there. However, the reason for the fight is said to be the impatience of the public as they had to wait in the queue while officials were checking for vaccination certificates and tickets.
Cherry Blossom Festival began on 25th November which is supposed to end on 27th November.
